Both squads turned in incredibly disappointing performances in Week 3, with Toledo falling at home to a struggling Colorado State team and Ball State getting blown out at Wyoming. On the other side of the spectrum, we have Ball State and Toledo.
The Broncos have firmly established themselves as one of the teams to beat in the conference. Kaleb Eleby and the entire offense were fantastic, racking up over 500 total yards in the contest. Western Michigan was obviously the highlight, knocking off Pitt 44-41 at Heinz Field. To kick off the show this week, the boys look back at Week 3. Many MAC squads still have questions to answer as conference play approaches, and a few opportunities remain this week for signature victories over Power Five opponents. We have our first conference game of the season this Saturday (Toledo visits Ball State), and quite a few intriguing non-conference matchups.
Happy Friday folks! One quarter of the football season is officially in the books, and there has been a lot to analyze in this first segment of the campaign.
